Quiz the Salesmen: How do you clean solar panels?

Walking through the wholesale warehouse, I was flagged down by a solar panel salesmen. After he was done with his sales pitch, I asked him; "how are you suppose to clean them?"

He confidently responded with, "just rinse them down with water from the floor with the jet stream setting."

Spraying solar panels with a water hose alone is not enough to effectively clean them.

Water may not be able to reach all areas of the panels, particularly if they have a textured or uneven surface. In these cases, a more targeted cleaning method may be necessary to ensure that all areas of the panels are cleaned properly.
